Style and steps that you can take immediately to be more effective.
Communication (March 6)
Communication
is critical to effective leadership.
Learn what effective communication is, your communication strengths, how
to listen, and how to “open the door of communication” with others.
Problem Solving/Conflict Management (March 13)
Problems
and conflicts can arise anywhere, anytime.
During this session learn how to identify the true source of
the
problem, generate solutions, engage effectively and follow through with an
effective course of action.
Dealing with Difficult People (March 20)
Are
there people you work or live with that you find difficult? Learn strategies for understanding others,
establishing
common ground, and working for cooperation and collaboration.
Stress Management (March 27)
Everyone
experiences stress. In this session

reduction of the effects of personal stress.
If
you are interested in becoming more involved in your child’s school, or you are
currently participating in a
school
leadership role, the professional leadership series will provide the support
and training to develop the
leader in YOU!
All schools are encouraged
to send representation from SAC, SIT, PTO, SELAC, etc.
