was determined that a fence shall be erected according to the Davisville
Elementary SAC proposal of
B. North Kingstown School Department Five Year Capital Improvement Program Projects – Joe Quinn explained that this was a list of all improvement projects that needed to be, or could need to be performed in the next 5 years, at all school department buildings. The list was accepted and approved on a motion by Pat Watkins and Denise Coppa with a vote of 6/0.
C. Comprehensive Guidance Support Plan
K-12 – This plan was seen to be over ambitious in that there may not be enough
staff to carry off the plan. Dr.
McGregor seemed to feel that this was not the case in that the plan was written
with the staff on hand in mind, and the future would determine if the guidance
departments were too understaffed to carry out the plan. A motion to approve the plan was made by
Karin Forbes and seconded by Pat Watkins.
The vote was unanimous 6/0.
D. Ice Hockey Telemarketing – A motion
to approve this plan was made by Janice DeFrances and seconded by Carol
Hueston. The vote included Cathy Kaiser
as it pertained to the High School and the plan passed 6/1 with Pat Watkins
voting against the scheme.

· Dr. Halley made mention that Hewlett Packard’s Data Driven Reform program has provided him with the information that they have assigned a representative to kick off the program for the town. It is a “Comprehensive Statewide Data System” to “develop a managed student info system” which will “facilitate district and RIDE federal reporting requirements” and “further RINET’s mission to provide scalable and economic solutions for K-12 in RI.
