
Our Principal is retiring this year from DMS. Two students did a short interview with her and found out the following information.
Q. What school did you first teach at?
A. I first worked at Gavin Junior High School in South Boston.
Q. How long did you teach there for?
A. I taught there for 1 year.
Q. How long have you been at DMS?
A. I have been at DMS for 25 1/2 years.
Q. Why did you decide to become a principal?
A. I became a principal because I love learning new things and I thought that my skills would fit with what a good principal would do.
Q. What was your biggest accomplishment at DMS?
A. My biggest accomplishment at DMS was helping to DMS on the road to success; we already made a lot of progress. I am confident that we will continue to be a school of excellence.
Q. Who has been your biggest influence in your teaching career?
A. My biggest influence has been my mother who was an elementary school teacher.
