Units of Instruction
The activities we will be doing this year are co-ed and include
street hockey, the mile run , physical conditioning , McWhipit, soccer, basketball,
volleyball, dance, softball, track and field, and touch football.
The dance unit which includes step aerobics, tae-bo, square, ballroom, line,
and folk dancing. This is followed by a volleyball unit which features two
weeks of drills, then co-ed teams are randomly selected and playoff in a 72
team tournament. The finalist from each team square off against each other
from grades 6, 7, & 8 to determine a grade level champion. The championship
team receives team shirts in recognition of their hard work and effort.
Some of the intramural sports that will be held are tennis, touch football,bocce, basketball, street
hockey, volleyball, table tennis, softball, and step aerobic/tae-bo. All activities
are offered to all grade levels and are co-ed.
This school has 6 interscholastic sports teams. They are boys' baseball, basketball,
and cross-country and girls' fast-pitch softball, basketball and cross-country.
You must attend tryouts if you hope to make these teams.
