Textures

    a. Photograph 5 different textures.
    b. Look for 3 items with a continuous tone and 2 with contrasting tones
    c. Print 2 different prints one from the continuous and one from the contrasting

 

Reflections

    Look for reflections (not just a reflection in a mirror) any shinny item will give you a reflection, water, highly polished surface.
        a. Photograph 24 items and make one finished print.

Learning F/Stops and Shutter Speeds:

   
Students photograph subjects around campus that will demonstrate their understanding of how f/stops and shutter speeds affect their composition.
      Students will photograph 2 subjects utilizing depth of field on with only one item in focus and the other must be totally focused from front to back

        (students will be required to produce one complete  roll of film, containing a minimum of 15 printable negatives.)


Close-up Photography:
 Photograph numerous close-up subjects around campus, using macro lenses and close-up filters.
(students will be required to produce one complete roll of film, containing a minimum of 15 printable negatives.)
   

Time gone bye    What is time?

    Photograph 3 items that show time has past.
        a. Print 1 finished 5x7

 Lenses


    Photograph 3 different subjects using wide angle, normal and telephoto lenses.
    Photograph each subject from the same position using each lens without changing location.

        (students will be required to produce one complete roll of film, containing a minimum of 15 printable negatives.)

Shadows

    Photograph numerous subject matters around campus utilizing shadows as a intricate part of your photograph.
            (students will be required to produce one complete roll of film, containing a minimum of 15 printable negatives.)

 

Product Photography (This assignment will count as 2 assignments)

    Photograph a product ( must be approved by Mr. King)
    Create / reproduce a current advertisement photographically
    This assignment is to be done using Photography and Desktop Publishing

 

Environmental Portrait
   
Photograph a family member or a friend doing something either a hobby or a hands on skill

        Shoot one roll of film
        Print 1 5x7 for final presentation

Low Light Photography

    Shoot 2 rolls of film at Iso 1600 photograph anything you want (but to make this assignment work it must be something indoors or late a night)
        Print 2 finished 5x7 photographs 1 must be a action photograph
