The look of the old West

 

1.Create a new image, create a new layer and with the marquee tool create a rectangle and fill it black.

2.Deselect the rectangle and go to the filter options select brush strokes and go to splatter. Play with the settings have fun.

3.Using the magic wand tool select the area and then invert selection

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3

5.Click the preserve transparency box and fill the layer with yellow or light beige.

6. Create a new layer and select brown-now the airbrush tool-use a large soft brush. Go to the options tab and change the opacity to %10-20. Now spray around the outer edge of where your image is.

7. Right click on the original layer to select the paper then invert the selection and clear away the unused area by pressing delete. PLAY WITH IT AND TRY DROPPING A DROP SHADOW.
