WMS Home On Wednesday, May 25, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, WMS held an orientation for the fifth graders who will be coming to Wickford Middle School next year. The leadership team has been very involved in helping Dr. Mort with the preparations for the evening. The students have taken photographs of life at WMS. After a brief PowerPoint presentation, the fifth graders were be given a tour of the school by members of the leadership team who planned the tour routes and created the script.
Update: The orientation went very well. While the Leadership team led the fifth graders on a tour, Dr. Mort stayed and answered questions from the parents. After the tours, the fifth graders went to the cafeteria to have a popsicle, and to be picked up by their parents. The Leadership team made a PowerPoint presentation of the teachers which ran in the cafeteria.
