Jump Rope for Heart

For many years WMS students have participated in the American Heart Association's Jump Rope for Heart program. Through their participation and the support of the community, WMS has raised funds for the RI Affiliate's educational, community, and research programs. Additionally, students have increased knowledge of the importance of physical fittness for a healthy lifestyle.

This year's Jump Rope for Heart will be held on Wednesday, February 11th. This is optional and open to all students providing they have at least one sponsor. Prizes are awarded at the event and students are also able to earn prizes based on funds raised. All donations are tax-deductible and must be pre-collected. Checks to AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION. Students are not to go to strangers homes. Forms will be available Jan. 30th and must be returned by Feb. 9th along with donations. Students have the option of jumping in honor or memory of someone. The person's name will be placed on a cut out heart and added to a "Wall of Hearts"
