This year both the boys' and girls' basketball teams had very successful seasons. The girls finished as division champions and the boys finished third in the division.To celebrate this accomplishment and to wish them well as they begin post-season championship play, a pep rally was held on February 6th. Principal Tyler Page emceed the rally which began with an introduction of both teams as well as the WMS cheerleading squad. Following the introductions the cheerleaders led the student body in several cheers. The boys and girls then competed in a variety of contests: lay-ups from various angles, foul shooting etc. It was very entertaining and close contest! After the student teams demonstrated their skill, members of the faculty, led by Mrs. Carol Dearlove, engaged in friendly competition!
