Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent
Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island Phil Auger entered the teaching profession in 1987, initially as an
English teacher at Bishop Hendricken High School. Dr. Auger spent
three years in the classroom in this capacity. In 1990, his
career took him to the college campus where he was a
doctoral student and a Teaching Fellow at URI and then to
the Naval Education and Training Center in Newport to be an
instructor for enlisted service personnel. Following
this work at the NETC, Dr. Auger taught English at Attleboro
Auger’s educational administration experience includes the Assistant Principal
for Teaching and Learning at Chariho High School from July
2000 to June 2009 and Assistant Superintendent at North
Kingstown from July 2009 to July 2011.
Auger earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from Providence
College in 1987, a Masters Degree in Education Administration from Providence College
in 2000, and a Doctorate of Philosophy from the University
of Rhode Island in 1995.
Auger and his wife, Kristin, have two children and they
reside in North Kingstown.

Teacher, Mrs. Sally Levesque!
Levesque has been a teacher in the North Kingstown
School Department for twenty six years, and has earned a
reputation for having high standards for herself and for
her students. She is a teacher who fully invests herself
for the sake of her students, especially those who need
extra support, and she is also well known as a
professional development leader by her peers in NK.
Mrs. Levesque gives of her time and expertise on many
occasions to lead science fairs, spelling bees, blood
drives, and charitable drives to provide books, hats,
and mittens for kindergarten students in Providence
All of the
students, parents, and educators who have been fortunate
enough to work with Mrs. Leveque know that she is truly
an excellent ambassador for all that is good about North
Mrs. Levesque, for making us so proud!
