Shawn has been with the Skippers for 5 years. He attended the University of Rhode Island where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology Health Fitness. Shortly after, he earned a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from Pacific University in Oregon. Shawn has experience working in a variety of different settings and sports teams including, division I college football, the Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League, and various high schools. After earning his masters degree he returned to Rhode Island and started working at Performance Physical Therapy and provided athletic training coverage to Exeter-West Greenwich High School. After a few years, Shawn joined the Skipper community in 2021 and has made North Kingstown his home with his wife Ker-lyn, son Donovan, and daughter Elsie.
