Forest Park Community,
As a GEMS-Net partnered school, Forest Park is excited to participate in the Science-in-Action Challenge! As a community, we are working together to earn monthly science badges, showcase our learning on a shared Padlet, and work toward a schoolwide grand prize. Be sure to check out our January, February, and March Padlets!
Last week, we held our monthly Forest Park Town Hall Assembly as part of our PBIS efforts to promote a positive and safe school environment. Students were recognized with EAGLE Awards for demonstrating a model attitude, and this month’s focus is on Giving Respect. Please [click here] to view the poster used during classroom discussions.
We also continue our Vision of the Learner (VOL) work. Please [click here] to learn more about this districtwide initiative, and enjoy the photos below of our kindergarten students practicing these important skills.
Third-quarter report cards will be distributed on Friday, April 17. If you have any questions,
please reach out to your child’s teacher. Friendly reminder, last day to purchase yearbooks is May 1.
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support.
