North Kingstown School Department

This presentation is for all North Kingstown school parents and guardians. It will be held in the auditorium at the North Kingstown High School.

New document uploaded to the Redistricting, School Start Times, and Transportation Advisory Committee site. Date regarding elementary student voluntary transfers that were approved for the 24/25 school year. The chart shows how many students were transferred out of their home schools into the requested elementary school. Staff Professional Development Day - One hour delay. All PD activites will begin at 9AM. Please drive safely.

Due to the forecasted freeze and out of an abundance of caution for our HS drivers who would be on the road very early in the morning, all NKSD will have a one hour delay on January 8, 2024.  All staff also are delayed 1 hour and AM Pre-K is canceled. Please drive safely!

Each team will have a specially design classroom dedicated to Science instruction. The Science labs have a larger footprint (1000 sq.ft.) along with a Science prep/storage room. These 21st century classrooms will have ample storage space, sinks, and flexible seating to support ALL students.

The two art classrooms will be centrally located on the first floor. These large classrooms will overlook and have access to the interior courtyard. Display cases will prominetly showcase student work for everyone to see.
