Chromebook Repairs
Students and parents are responsible for district-owned technology property that is issued to them, just as they are for other district-owned items such as textbooks, calculators, cameras, athletic equipment, or library books.
The district will repair or replace the device, but students and parents will be responsible for the cost of those repairs or replaced devices. However, the liability on families/students can be reduced significantly by purchasing optional insurance.

Technicians visit the schools 2-3 times daily to handle repair pick-ups and drop-offs.
Our goal is to have a quick turn around on devices.
Chromebook Repair Billing
For the convenience of our families, we send invoices for repairs through Aspen and use MySchoolBucks as our payment portal.
Upon logging into MySchoolBucks, parents can review the invoice for the student that incurred the repair fees by clicking on the student's name.
Parents may also send a copy of the invoice and a check payable to
North Kingstown School Dept
to the Main Office of their student's School. Please make sure to write in the NOTE line the following information:
Student Name, Grade, School
