Frontline PLUs

The North Kingstown School Dept. uses the Frontline platform to provide employees with a method of keeping track of the Professional Learning Units (PLUs) required for RIDE recertification.

Start at  mylearningplan.com. If you have trouble logging in, please contact Sherri Briggs.

Follow these step-by-step directions to sign up and receive PLUs for pre-approved activities that are already listed in the District Catalog.

The PLU Request Form is for educators who want to receive credit for PLU work that does not require payment or a substitute. Acceptable activities can include but are not limited to CPT work, data meetings, faculty meeting work, free webinars, etc. that are not already listed in the District Catalog. You must upload a PDF version of evidence of activity completion (such as a meeting summary or other relevant documents). This request will be sent to your building principal for final approval.

The Out-of-District Workshop/Conference Request Form is for educators who would like to attend an off-campus workshop or conference that requires payment or a substitute and is not already listed in the District Catalog. Please include the activity URL (website link) and/or upload a PDF version of the related Agenda/Brochure. Before you can attend, you must receive initial approval from your Principal and final approval from the Assistant Superintendent .

All District Catalog activities stop showing after June 30th of every school year. If you want to receive credit for last year’s activities, please follow these steps.

In some circumstances, you may need to upload evidence of attendance or completion for your PLU activities. Follow these steps to add documents to your Frontline File Library.

Renewing your RIDE certification is a multi-step process. It starts with downloading your Frontline PLU transcript. Follow these directions to learn how.

If you are a Team Leader, Curriculum Coordinator, Department Chair, Building Administrator, or other PD Instructor, follow these directions to add an activity to the District Catalog. After it is listed in the catalog, others will be able to sign up for it.

If you lead a PD session, you are responsible for confirming the attendance. Please follow these directions to do so.
