The North Kingstown School Department Registrations

We are accepting 2026-2027 School Year Student Registrations.

Please note: We will not be confirming registrations right away. Once your registration is submitted, you should get a pop-up message that it has been sent. If you can take a screenshot of that message, it would be helpful just in case there is an issue with the Google Form submission. You can email that screenshot to STUDENT REGISTRATION to ensure that it has been received by registration staff.

When the registration is completed, parents/guardians will receive a personal email from the student registration staff with a confirmation.

Kindergarten Registration

  •  For the current school year of 25-26, kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025.

  •  For the 2026-2027 school year, kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026 to register for kindergarten. (R.I. Gen. Laws § 16-2-27)

Child Outreach Screenings

  • Our Child Outreach Coordinator is following our Registration list very closely. There is no need to email that office at this time, as they will be proactively emailing parents to schedule screenings for April, May, and June.

If you are interested in registering your child for preschool or have questions about the PK Programs in North Kingstown Schools, please call Davisville Academy: Early Learning Center at 401-541-6352.

Student Registration

We will be processing all registrations remotely until further notice. 

Please follow the steps listed here and submit the SRIC form with the uploaded required documents*.   Accepted file types are.jpg and pdf.

Once the enrollment is processed, you will receive a welcome email with some technical information.  Additionally, the school will be notified of the registration.  Any school-specific information will come directly from the assigned school.

Important Notice: Newly enrolled students are assigned to their home schools on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be aware that some elementary grade levels may reach enrollment capacity. When this occurs, students will be placed in another school with available space. Transportation will be provided.
