The North Kingstown School Department Registrations

Beginning February 3, 2026, we will start accepting 2026-2027 School Year registrations.

If you are an out-of-district CTE Student, we are accepting these applications now.

Please note: that we will not be confirming registrations right away. Once Registration is completed, parents /guardians will receive an email with a personal response from student registration staff once the enrollment is confirmed for the 26-27 school year.

Kindergarten Registration

  •  For the current school year of 24-25, kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024.

  •  For the 2025-2026 school year, kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 2, 2025 to register for kindergarten. (R.I. Gen. Laws § 16-2-27)

Pre-School Students

If you are interested in registering your child for preschool or have questions about the PK Programs in North Kingstown Schools, please call Davisville Academy: Early Learning Center at 401-541-6352.

Student Registration

We will be processing all registrations remotely, until further notice. 

Please follow the steps listed here and submit the SRIC form with the uploaded required documents*.   Accepted file types are.jpg and pdf.

Once the enrollment is processed you will receive a welcome email with some technical information.  Additionally, the school will be notified of the registration.  Any school-specific information will come directly from the assigned school.

Important Notice: Newly enrolled students are placed in their home schools on a first come first served basis.  Please know that there may be some grade levels at the elementary schools that are at student enrollment capacity.  When this occurs, students are enrolled in a school that has space available.  Transportation is provided.
